ATTUNED THERAPY was founded by Alexis Lion in 2023.
We support individuals and couples in building sustainable recovery rather than symptomatic relief; and equipping psychologists, counsellors and mental health practitioners in Southeast Asia with the Schema Therapy model.
About Alexis
Alexis Lion is a Registered Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor with the Singapore Association of Counselling (SAC). She is also an accredited Advanced Schema Therapist with the International Society of Schema Society (ISST).
Alexis holds a Master of Counselling from Monash University and a Bachelor in Communications (Media Studies & Public Relations) from Murdoch University.
Alexis works with children and adolescents from independent schools and international schools across Singapore, Indonesia and the UK. She has vast experience in working with giftedness in children and adolescents, and clients presenting with mood disorders, disordered eating, childhood trauma and relationship issues. She understands how the development of young persons has its unique set of challenges and works closely with parents and schools to better support them.
She also adopts a collaborative approach in therapy with her clients. Alexis firmly believes in working alongside families to support her young clients. Whenever appropriate, she also uses Play Therapy, Schema Therapy, Emotion-focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Chairwork dialogues with her clients.
Alexis currently offers individual therapy sessions and parenting support, coaching and consultancy services for organisations.
